Due to an increase in workload, and a change in our working practices due to Covid-19; we are having to prioritise help tickets that are preventing users from playing our games. Whilst we aim to address every ticket in the order received, this may mean some tickets receive a reply outside of the response time below. Link your Frontier account to your Steam account

Should you need to link your existing Frontier account to your Steam account, please follow these steps. Note that you will need to be logged out of the launcher first (via 'options' in the top right): 

Step 1: Open Elite Dangerous via the Steam client. You will be greeted with two options, 'Link Account' or 'Use Existing Account'. Please click on 'Link Account' this will open up a page in your browser.

Step 2: Once you have chosen this option, please enter the original email address and password that you used when first creating your Frontier account on the page that you are brought to.

Step 3: After doing this you will be brought to the account approval screen where you just need to click approve, and your accounts will be linked!

After clicking 'Approve' on this screen, you will be be brought to a page that will redirect you to open the launcher. On the launcher you will be logged in and be able to click 'Play' and launch the game!
